The present invention generally relates to a domestic cooking appliance, and in particular a portable cooking appliance or transportable air flow.
It is known in the prior art convection cooking appliances or airflow, such as that disclosed in WO 2012032449 A1. In return, this apparatus has the particular disadvantage of providing a complex internal structure without however, it can effectively evacuate the water vapor generated during cooking.
An object of the present invention is to meet the drawbacks of the prior art mentioned above and in particular, first of all, to provide an airflow cooking appliance having a simple internal structure and which makes it possible to effectively remove water vapor from a cooking space in this appliance.
For this a first aspect of the invention relates to a food cooking apparatus comprising: - a centrifugal turbine arranged to create an air flow in a cooking space, - a steam extraction window arranged to extract to the outside the apparatus of the steam present in the cooking space, characterized in that the extraction window has at all points of its passage surface a normal direction with at least one non-zero component in a direction tangential to a circle centered on the centrifugal turbine and passing in the center of the extraction window. The cooking apparatus according to the present implementation comprises an extraction window forming an upstream end of a duct towards the outside of the appliance, to allow water vapor to escape from the appliance. cooking space. The orientation of the extraction window is chosen so that the flow of air which has a tangential component at the outlet of the centrifugal turbine impinges on the extraction window. FIG. 1 represents a sectional view of an air-flow cooking apparatus, which comprises a centrifugal turbine 2, arranged in a cooking space formed by an upper cavity 3 and a tank 11. The tank 11 as well as a cooking basket 10 are removable relative to a housing 7. These elements are guided in translation along a guide formed by a cooking chamber 12 and a ring 5. The assembly is extracted by the front of the device (on the left of figure 1), using a handle, visible figure 1.
Cooking food is done in the cooking basket 10. The air of the cooking space is heated by means of a resistor 9 and then set in motion in this cooking space by the centrifugal turbine 2 connected for this purpose to a motor 6. The air is sucked by the cooking basket 10 via a deflector 8. It is heated to the passage of the resistance 9. The air is then propelled radially on the walls of the upper cavity 3 by the centrifugal turbine 2 The heated air descends along the wall of the upper cavity 3 and the tank 11 before supplying heat to the food in the cooking basket 10. Arrows in Figure 1 schematize the path of the air flow .
However, it should be noted that due to the rotational movement of the centrifugal turbine 2, the air flow at the outlet of the centrifugal turbine 2 and down along the wall of the cooking chamber 12 is also rotating, that is to say, it follows a propeller or cyclonic movement.
In order to avoid overpressures due to the appearance of steam during cooking (water evaporates from the food to be cooked), an extraction window 1 is provided at the level of the upper cavity 3 , opposite an exhaust zone of the centrifugal turbine 2. The steam formed during the cooking of the food escapes through the extraction window 1 and then by an extraction duct 13 at the upper rear part of the cooking chamber, visible figure 2. Thus the steam can escape from the back, opposite the handle and the front face, which avoids any interference with the user and any condensation on the face before.
In order to best guide the moist air towards the extraction duct 13, the invention proposes a particular arrangement of the extraction window 1 in the upper cavity 3, as can be seen in FIG.
The extraction window 1 is assembled on the upper cavity 3 in front of the exhaust of the centrifugal turbine 2 (a portion of the blades has been masked for the sake of clarity). The vent grille forming the extraction window 1 is judiciously oriented in order to capture a maximum of the output flow of the centrifugal turbine 2 which has a radial component, but also a tangential component T.
The Applicant has defined a minimum angle α of 20 ° and a maximum of 35 ° between the extraction window 1 and the flat rear face of the upper cavity 3. Ideally, an angle α of 24 ° ± 4 ° will be preferred.
Alternatively, an angle a2 between a normal direction N at the extraction window 1 and a tangential direction T of a circle (C) centered on the centrifugal turbine 2 and passing through the center of the extraction window 1 is between 110 ° and 125 °, and is ideally in the range of 110 ° to 118 °.
Finally, it can be seen from FIG. 3 that the extraction window 1 is advanced in the upper cavity 3 to be as close as possible to the blades of the centrifugal turbine 2, in order to capture as much water vapor as possible. A distance can be provided between the extraction window 1 and the blades of the centrifugal turbine 2 less than 10 mm, and more preferably less than 5 mm.
In summary, the invention provides an efficient extraction of water vapor created during cooking due to the orientation of the extraction window which is not parallel to the tangential direction of the circle concentric with the centrifugal turbine 2 and passing through the middle of the extraction window, as well as thanks to the proximity of the extraction window with the blades of the centrifugal turbine 2, the extraction window 1 forming an upstream end of a conduit to the outside of the device.
